Are you Creative?

Currently WI-APCO/WI-NENA have their individual logos;

however, the combined group we call W I P S C O M (Wisconsin Public Safety Communications) does not.

We are looking for individuals to create a logo for the joint association that we can use on correspondences, website and possibly promotion materials.  If you are interested, please submit your design to Shelby Schmidt at sschmidt@waukeshacounty.gov by August 11th, 2015.

The winner will be voted on at the August 12th chapter meeting and the winner will receive a $50 gift card.

Wisconsin 9-1-1 Legislative Lobby Day
Wednesday, April 8th, 2015

Good attendance from numerous Wisconsin Counties.  The attendance at this event sends a very clear message that the issues impact 9-1-1 across the state.

The group was able to meet with legislators and/or staff in order to impress upon them three critical areas needed to strengthen our already good 9-1-1 system; Statewide Coordination; Enhanced Dispatcher Training;  A Stable Funding Source.
